About Don

Don Rosser is an accomplished photographer with a passion of photographing people and enhancing the images into fine art photography in his digital dark room. His images range from the dark and sinister to bright and whimsical and from bikers at Sturgis to "Goth Girls" in cemeteries. Each piece is meticulously crafted and exquisitely printed. Don's images can be seen displayed in Picture This Custom Framing, Hey Lola, Misty Hollow, the Rhythm Kitchen Music Cafe, and Monroe Art Gallery. Don's images have been published in Marita Brake's book of poetry, “Untamed Hearts” as well as on the cover, which Don designed and created, of her CD “A Celtic Rose.” Don has had fine art photography shows at One World Cafe in Peoria and Picture This Custom Framing in Peoria Heights.

Don is a skilled audio technician and engineer, having owned and operated a recording studio, now digital, for over 20 years. Don's recording studio has recorded more award winning storytelling projects than any other recording studio in the country. His most recent recording projects are a CD for nationally known storyteller Dan Keding and a CD, including the cover art, for the local group Waterstreet.

Don is or has been the photographer for the local Harley's Owner Group the River City Blues Society.

He is the newsletter editor for the Bohemian Art Society and the Peoria Color Camera Club.

Don is an accomplished musician now devoted to the electric bass guitar and enjoys playing at open stages throughout the area.

Don makes archival quality Giclee prints and fine art quality greeting/note cards for local artists.

Don has recently expanded his skills to include the art of web site design and is working on his tenth web site.

Don also produces Giclee prints and greeting/note cards of his own images for sale.
