Chad Ahmad (AKA "The Chad") is originally from Spring Valley, IL and moved to Peoria, IL in 2003 to complete his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Sciences in 2005. Chad began to experiment with music when he was nine years old. After fiddling around with various instruments from hand drums, to piano, and then guitar, he found most pleasure in making music by means of tightly wound strings. Chad has been involved in bands focusing in experimental rock, hip-hop, punk, rock, blues, goth, blue-grass, and arriving in folk.Chad's original works are deeply rooted in life experience, drawing inspiration from all walks of music. Do not let his musical background influence your expectations of his style of writing. He has enough original material to keep you up all night or put you to sleep. So when you see his next show, arrive with an open ear and an open mind.
